HYGENIC VACUUM
Manufactured using a silicone based elastomer to FDA 177.2600 and EP VI.1.3.2 standards. These hoses are supplied in up to 4M lengths with a temperature range of -60C to +200C (+220C spot) in standard form, bore sizes available from 1/4"(6.3mm) to 14"(355.6mm). Standard colour opaque specifically for clean industry process/production use.
CONSTRUCTION
The number of reinforcing ply's varies with hose bore to suit the 10 bar rating. Ply's are knitted glass cloth impregnated with silicone. Smooth line bore for clear flow and convoluted outer for maximum flexibility with smooth outer skin of silicone for complete integrity. A 316L stainless steel wire helix is embedded within the convolutions.
A smooth inner and smooth outer without convolutes is also offered as an alternative.
PRESSURE RANGE
The `silgiene mb' hygienic hose range is designed to operate at a 10 bar working pressure and full vacuum. For higher working pressures additional `ply' reinforcement is added, please advise before ordering any requirement beyond 10 bar. Standard pressure safety factor 3:1.
Alternative constructions and compounds are available to suit aggressive environments, high and low temperatures (-115C to +315C)
